Webquest Missing Member

From my experience in undergraduate when it comes to group project, very rarely won't the group have to deal with an absent member. My philosophy is that the group makes attempts to contact the member. In case there's no response, I usually take it upon myself to address the portion that would have been the responsibility of the missing member.
1) I am not sure if the member cares that much
2) I need to graduate
3) The more the group waits, the more frustrating it gets
4) The group simply needs to bring it to the attention of the professor and to further inquire whether the student is actively part of the class or the group.
5) It's my contention that one cannot force students or people in general to take full responsibility for their academic obligations.

What do you think?

  1. I think in this situation you should cover the missing member's portion, and also bring it to the teacher's attention.
